Regina Luce

Regina Mary "Reggie" Waskiewicz Luce, 83, of Mt. Gilead, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. She was born September 21, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Joseph Waskiewicz and Anna Waskiewicz Leightfuss. She was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Carlton Luce, of the home; son, Richard Joseph Luce, of Long Island, NY; daughters, Lorelei Best, of Endicott, NY, Deborah Laviska, of Lisle, NY, Susan Tallent, of Statesville, and Chris Parnell, of Richfield; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
