Renda Huneycutt

Renda Lee Coley Huneycutt, 71, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.

Renda was born March 7, 1945 in Stanly County to the late Joseph Lee Coley and the late Daisy Ophelia Burris Coley. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Hudson and Norma Brewer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Bethesda Cemetery, conducted by Douglas Allen. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Cletus Benjamin Huneycutt of the home; daughters, Melinda Lee and husband Todd of Albemarle, Denise Allen and husband Michael of Oak Island; grandsons, Will and Ben Allen of Oak Island; sister, Joann Harward of Monroe; brother, Jimmy Russell; and her faithful companion, Zippy.

Renda was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Family was her life, and she loved her grandsons dearly. She was one of Jehovah's witnesses.
