Renee Petzel Tovey, 58 years of age, of China Grove, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

Renee was born December 12, 1957 in Louisiana to the late Ronald August Petzel and the late Rita Cambre Petzel.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis.

Survivors include husband, Arthur Lee Tovey of China Grove, NC.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
