Rev. Curtis Cauble

Rev.Curtis A. Cauble, 89 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Concord First Assembly Living Center.

Rev. Cauble was born March 24, 1925 in Salisbury, NC to the late John Grover Cauble and the late Minnie Leila (Christenbuary) Cauble.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Alice K. Cauble; as well as two brothers William Grover Cauble and Robert Bernard Cauble.

Survivors include son Steven Cauble of Lantana, TX; Lisa Cauble of Woodland Hills, CA; daughter Sherilyn Jones and husband Jerry of Byron Center, MI; daughter Kathy Cauble of Concord; son Tim Cauble and wife Cindy of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren Tucker Cauble, Clancy Cauble, Haven Weits and husband Aaron, Melissa Jones, Allison Reyes, and Erin Crutchfield and husband Mike; great grandchildren Grace and Olivia Reyes, and Madison Crutchfield; sisters in law Geraldine Cauble and Jean Silver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He proudly served in the United States Army and fought in WWII. Rev. Cauble was a pastor for 62 years in the Foursquare Organization, where his pastorates included Gastonia, NC; Guymon, OK; Donna, TX; Concord, NC; St. Petersburg, FL and High Point, NC. After retiring from pastoring, he continued his ministry of visitation and prayer for the sick, elderly and shut-ins well into his eighties.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Harvest Community Church, 4284 Orphanage Road, Concord, NC. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jeff Burris and Rev. Scott Reese. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with full military honors.
