The families of Ricardo Herrera Solano, 15, and Jessie Marroquin, 14, of Concord, announce with great sadness the deaths of their sons on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Ricardo was born February 3, 2002 to Isai Herrera Evaristo and Denysse Maritza Solano-Utrilla. Jessie was born October 2, 2002 to Martin Gumercindo Marroquin Cruz and Olga Mabel Avelino-Hernandez.
A joint Funeral Mass will be held 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 139 Manor Avenue SW, Concord NC 28025. Each family will receive friends at their respective residences on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 7:00 pm until midnight. Visitation will be held for Jessie and Ricardo on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Drive NE, Concord NC 28026. Burial will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. James Catholic Cemetery, 2323 Gold Hill Road, Concord NC 28025.
The family requests guests please wear white for the services and bring gold and white balloons for a balloon release at the cemetery.
