Richard Clark

Richard Henry Clark, 63 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his parents home. Richard will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times, and even though he took his life we know he is at rest (without pain) now.

Richard was born May 21, 1952 in Cortland, NY to Eddie and Annie Clark.

Mr. Clark proudly served in the United States Army during the end of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Richard Clark Construction Company for over 30 years.

Survivors include his parents, his daughter Valerie Clark and granddaughter Emma, son Justin Clark and grandsons Tristyn and Kadyn, son Brandon Clark and wife Leslie along with granddaughter Samantha. Siblings include; Bonnie Carson (and husband Doug), Dave Clark, Darlene Carrigan (and husband Bruce), Mike Clark (and wife Lori), Steve Clark and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Center United Methodist Church, 1119 Union Street South, Concord, NC 28025.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AA or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
