Richard Ramsey

Richard Claye Ramsey, 66 years of age, of Concord, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Mr. Ramsey was born June 28, 1947 in Arkansas to the late Richard and Willie Ramsey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Dr. Terry Faulkenbury. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Gail Ramsey of Concord; two daughters, Erika Kouato and husband Rabiou of Concord and Lori Self and husband Dell of Concord; two brothers, Larry Ramsey of Mooresville and George Gary Ramsey of Concord; and four grandchildren.
