Richard Wayne Mullis, 57 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Rick was born January 19, 1957 in Mecklenburg County to Richard Mullis and Frances Mullis. He worked as a foreman for SPPI. "Big Daddy" enjoyed riding Harleys, spending time with his girls, farming, and helping neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Monday, July 14, 2014 at Love's Grove United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm at Love's Grove United Methodist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Jim White. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Tammy Mullis of Stanfield; daughters, Talor Harvell (fiance Jason Smith) of Locust, Anna Mullis and Molly Mullis of Stanfield; father, Richard Lee Mullis of Stanfield; mother, Frances Efird Mullis of Stanfield; brother, David Allen (Amy) Mullis of Locust; brother-in-law, Todd Kinley of Marshville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
