Richard Williamson

Richard  Lee Williamson, 83, of Concord, NC passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.

Richard was born January 15, 1938 in Concord, NC to the late Henry and Alice Williamson.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Phyllis Williamson.

Survivors include son, Jack Allen McLain, Jr. and wife Stasha; son, Michael Ray McLain and wife Emily; daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Williamson Barker; grandchildren, Josh, Winter and Darren McLain, Timothy Williamson, Justice Barker and Chad Barker, Jr., brother, Bobby Williamson and wife Ching; niece, Debbie Williamson; and nephew, Bobby Williamson, Jr.

Much of Richard's life was devoted to serving the church and his community.Over the years Richard and his wife helped Foster over a hundred children in their home. He loved spending time fishing and taking trips to the mountains with family. He will be missed greatly but we find comfort in knowing that he is with his Savior Jesus Christ and his loving wife

A graveside funeral service will be at 1pm on Monday, February 15th at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, officiated by Brother Todd Jacobs.
