Ricky Helms

Ricky Clinton Helms, 58 years of age, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.

Ricky was born June 15, 1958 in Union County to Clinton W. Helms and Helen Austin Helms.
He was preceded in death by son, Christopher Brian Helms.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Friday, June 2, 2017 at Love's Chapel UMC, 808 South Love Chapel Road , Stanfield. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gene Moore and Dr. Tommy Ross, will be at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Locust.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by fiancé, Kay McCoy of Midland; several uncles and aunts; and two beloved dogs, Onyx and Sugar.

Ricky was the owner and operator of Wood-Plus cabinet manufacturing in Midland.
