Rita Burns

Rita Burns, of Concord, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2015 Hospice care.

She was born November 27, 1922, in Fall River Massachusetts to John and Rosella Marshall. Rita was married for 66 years to the late Walter J. Burns, Jr., both former long time residents of Ocala, Florida.

Rita is survived by five grandchildren, Derek Burns of Concord, NC, Ann Hassett of Plymouth, MA, Justine McGowan of Newport, RI, Robin Laubi of Westport, RI, Lisa Azar of Somerset, RI; twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Burns Jr., two sons, a daughter, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held March 16 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, Florida.
