Rita Honeycutt

Rita Carroll Honeycutt, age 58 of Concord, passed away on July 14, 2011. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 7pm until 9pm. The funeral service will be Monday, July 18, 2011 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. At other times, the family will meet at the home of Betty Ward, a sister. Ms. Honeycutt was born in Cabarrus County on August 30, 1952, to the late Pearl Lee Carroll and the late Eula Vee Riley Carroll. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Carroll, Olin Carroll, Marvin Carroll, Charles Carroll and Frank Carroll. She is survived by sisters, Brenda Munson of Concord, Betty Ward of Concord, Shirley Storey of Kannapolis and Virginia “Jennie” Riffle of Kannapolis; brothers, Ken Carroll of Asheville, Ronnie Carroll of Concord and Larry Carroll of Concord. Ms. Honeycutt was employed as a cashier with What-A-Burger #10 in Midway for over 20 years. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Carroll family.
