Rita Jefferson

Rita Lynn Jefferson, 57, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Jefferson was born January 22, 1961 in Stanly County to the late William "Bill" Eugene Oliver and Rozana Hartsell Oliver. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brothers; Jake, Dwayne, and Joseph Oliver.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the St. Martin's Lutheran Church Cemetery at 16592 St Martin Rd in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Ray Sipe.

In addition to her mother, survivors include husband, Ronald Jefferson of Albemarle; son, Alton Morton; daughter, Stacy Shupe; brothers, Randy Oliver and Chester Oliver; and sister, Vickie Morton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001
