"Robbie" Melton, Jr

William Robert “Robbie” Melton, Jr., 43 of Stanfield, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Mr. Melton was born May 31, 1969 in Lancaster County, S. C. to William Robert "Bobby" Melton, Sr. and Dimple Dianne Stockman Melton. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Gary Morris. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Marie Love Melton, of the home; his parents, William Robert "Bobby" and Dianne Melton, of Lancaster, S. C.; his sons, Jason Melton of Lancaster, S. C. and Austin Melton of Pageland, S. C. and his step-son, Rusty Brownfield, of the home; his sister, Debbie Jenkins, of Lancaster, S. C.; and his granddaughter, Bayleigh Melton. Hartsell Funeral Home at 13575 Broadway Avenue in Midland is serving the Melton family.
