Robert Faggart Sr.

Robert Glenn Faggart, 77, of Concord, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Robert was born December 7, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Bonnie Cruse Faggart and William Glenn Faggart.

Bob had many hobbies including, racing, John Deere Tractors, and slot cars.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved spending time with his family.  Bob, affectionately known as "BB" never met a stranger and everyone loved him.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Brian Faggart.

Survivors include wife, Sylvia Faggart, son, Robert "Robby" Faggart, Jr. and wife Tracy; and daughter, Leslie Duncan and husband Randy.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, 3600 US-601, Concord, NC 28025 and Hospice of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Mt. Herman Lutheran Church.

The family would like to give many thanks to Hospice of Cabarrus County for their loving care. Healthy at Home Staff & Advance Home Health, along with many other agencies for their help though the years. A huge thank you to Brian Russell and Wanda Laughlin for all of the special care they did to help the family during this difficult period.
