Robert Felty

Robert Charles Felty, 67 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 peacefully at home. Bob was born April 20, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles Henry Felty and the late Pearl Margaret Bruley Felty. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by the Cabarrus County Honor Guard. At other times the family will be gathering at the home. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Nancy Ann Bresnahan Felty of the home; daughters, Jennifer Lee Felty Chandonnet and husband David of Raleigh, Dawn Marie Velfling of Concord, and Natalie Ann Carling and husband Douglas of Michigan; grandchildren, Danielle and Cameron Chandonnet, and Tyler Carling; sister, Sharon Kukulis and husband Kent of Michigan; and nephew, Todd Kukulis of Michigan. Bob worked for Ford Motor Company as a fork lift operator for 30 years. He loved his family, boat, and pipe. Bob served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Felty family.
