Robert Ferguson

Robert A. “Bob” Ferguson of Concord, NC, formerly of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at The Gardens of Taylor Glen in Concord, NC. A visitation will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 3 until 6 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5222 Sideburn Road, Fairfax, VA on Monday, with Father James Barkett officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Ferguson was born on October 25, 1929 in New York, NY, to the late David Ferguson and Anna O’Niel Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a Division Chief for The Department of Defense. He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth Hart Ferguson of the home; sons, Dr. Michael Ferguson and wife Deanne of Harrisburg, NC and Dr. Sean Ferguson and wife Jennifer of Huntersville, NC; five grandsons, Ryan, Colin, Matthew, Evan, and Nicholas; brother, John Ferguson and wife Kay of Ohio; brother’s-in-law, Richard Owens and Eric Johnfelt of NY; many nieces and nephews.
