Robert Lee Selden Foster

Robert Lee Selden Foster went on to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 72. Robert was born on March 23, 1952, to the late Kirby Seldon and Kate Foust.

He served in the Army for 20 years, retiring and picking up Beekeeping as a passionate hobby he kept until the day of his death.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years Faye; children, Rachel and Kyle; sister, Brona; and grandson, Gray. As he departs us, he is also reunited with his parents; brother, Ralph; and sister, Della. Those who were lucky enough to be in Robert’s presence long enough know that he was a kind, loving man.

He displayed his commitment through actions: he was always around, willing to assist and taking a proactive approach towards helping to solve others' problems.

Those who knew Robert will remember him not just for what he did in his life, but for who he was.

His life was one of quiet strength, deep wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed, but his impact will carry on in the lives of those who loved him. 

A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home, 12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC.  The service will be webcast.
