Robert Lawrence

Robert Harvey Lawrence, age 81, of Oakboro, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his home in Oakboro at 5:00pm. Robert was born on September 22, 1931, to the late Henry Richard Lawrence and the late Roxie Alice Lawrence. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Anita Lawrence of the home; three sons, Robert Lawrence and wife Christie of Oakdale, Minn, Dan Lawrence and wife Carol of Stanwood, WA, Gary Lawrence of Marsville, WA; a daughter, Cynthia Harris and husband Scott of Camanois, WA; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a step son, Scott Svancarek of Oakboro, NC; two step daughters, Tammy Tran of Matthews, NC, Deanna Barbee and husband Darin of Oakboro, NC; eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First St. Albemarle, NC 28001 Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Lawrence family.
