Robert Pearce

Mr. Robert Herman Pearce, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, North East. Mr. Pearce was born January 1, 1930 in Dunn, NC to the late William and Louise Pearce. After graduating from Mt. Ranier High School in Maryland, Mr. Pearce served in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pearce is preceded in death by his brother Patrick Pearce. He is survived by his; wife of 58 years, Madge Pearce; son, Vincent P. Pearce and his wife Sharon of Ellicott City, MD; brother, Jerome Pearce and his wife Lori of Washington, NC and by several nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 5, 2013 at 11:00 am at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Bostic officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, 4815 NC 49 Harrisburg, NC 28075. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Pearce family.
