Robert Quates

Robert Brent Quates, 70, of Charlotte, passed away on January 30, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 13, 1951 to Robert and Mary (Carver) Quates at Fort Lee, VA.  Robert was an honored Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a proud patriot that loved his country.  Robert was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved his family unconditionally and will be missed every single day, but heaven has gained another angel.

Robert is survived by his loving spouse Ladda of 45 years, Daughter, Brenna Quates Houston of Mooresville, NC, son-in-law Mike Houston of Mooresville, NC; Daughter, Darcey Quates Wilson of Concord, NC, son-in-law Claude Wilson of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren Dylan Quates, Keagan Wilson, and Colton Houston.

He was preceded in death by mother, Mary Quates, father, Robert Lee Quates, Jr.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 4:00 pm - 5:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Harrisburg, NC.  Funeral services will be held immediately after on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 6:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home Harrisburg, NC, with Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will take place at the Salisbury National Veteran Cemetery on Tuesday, February 9th at 10:00 a.m..
