Robert Eugene Reed, 77 years of age, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Bob was born September 4, 1939 in Ohio.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral of Concord. The funeral service will be Monday, April 10, 1:00 pm at Royal Oaks Baptist Church, 904 Texas St., Kannapolis, NC, officiated by Rev Tim Yates. Burial, with full military honors provided by Cabarrus County Honor Guard, will take place Wednesday, April 12, 1:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Vincent (Kristin) Reed of Marion, OH, Clayton Reed of FL and Bobby Reed of IN; wife, Debbie Hatley of Salisbury, NC; daughter, Robyn (Bart) Hooper of Marion, OH; step-daughters,Amber Hatley of Concord, Amy Pincay of Kannapolis, and Jennifer (Jeff) Threadgill; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
