Robert J. Reynolds, Age 72 of 672 Grandview Drive NE, Concord, North Carolina, passed away on October 14, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. Born in Gaffney, SC, Cherokee County on April 18, 1937, he was preceded in death by his mother Era (Price) Reynolds & father Robert R. Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a US Air Force veteran, and a member of First Presbyterian Church,in Concord. Prior to retiring, he was a contractor for Duke Energy. He had also owned and operated General Wood Products, Inc. in Richburg, SC. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 1:00 PM 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Fellowship House in Concord. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel Fellowship House with the Rev. Dr. Todd Hobbie officiating. Burial will follow at Historic Memorial Gardens. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his spouse Nancy (Davis)Reynolds of Concord, One Daughter Tammy(Reynolds)Helms & husband Jeff of Concord, One Brother Gerald Charles Reynolds of Gaffney SC, and One Granddaughter Karley Elizabeth Helms .
