Robert Adam Simpson, 55, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly in Albemarle.
Robert was born March 31, 1962 in Stanly County to the late Jesse Adam Simpson and the late Iris Jean Love Simpson.

He is survived by daughter, Chasity Simpson of Albemarle; brothers, Ronnie Simpson of Albemarle, Jesse Simpson and wife Karen of Locust; nephews, Allen Simpson of Locust, Cory Simpson and wife Kayla of Albemarle; aunt, Gayle Hinson and husband C.A. of Oakboro; and numerous cousins.
Robert was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He enjoyed spending time sitting outside and playing games. He loved his hamster, Weezer, and his cat, Jackie.
