Rodger Huneycutt

Rodger "Dale" Huneycutt, 60, of Richfield, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Huneycutt was born February 16, 1959 to Edith Hatley Huneycutt and the late Ray "Punkin" Huneycutt. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Doc Huneycutt.

Dale enjoyed welding and making art out of horseshoes. His most prized qualities were his consideration for others and his overwhelming desire to help anyone in need. Dale will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 am, Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor David Wilson and Pastor Jeff Shue.   Burial will conclude at the Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Dale is survived by his wife, Teresa Shue Huneycutt; sons, Toby Huneycutt and wife DeAnna, Jake Huneycutt and fiancée Summer Wilson; mother, Edith Hatley Huneycutt; sister, Connie Bost and husband Randy; grandchildren, Jayce and Presleigh Huneycutt.
