Roger Linker, Sr

Roger Dale Linker Sr., age 62, of Smyrna, TN died on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. A native of Concord, NC he was the son of the late Buford Edward and Marie Margaret Honeycutt Linker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Junker.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 3:00PM eastern time at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church in Midland, NC. Rev. Dennis Grey will officiate. Burial will follow immediately after the service in the Pine Bluff United Methodist Church cemetery. Visitation will be before the service from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.

Mr. Linker is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jeanne McMullian Linker; son, Roger Dale Linker Jr. and his wife Robyn of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Angie Campbell and her husband Cody of Smyrna, TN; brother, Edward Linker and his wife Doris of Midland, NC; grandchildren, Dylan Linker, Preston Senters, Haley Linker, Austin Senters, Riley Linker and Benton Campbell; along with several nephews and cousins.

Mr. Linker attended LifePoint Church in Smyrna. He was a 1969 graduate of Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC. Mr. Linker worked with Security Electronics as an Engineer. He loved working on computers and had a passion for fishing and playing the guitar. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Woodfin Funeral Home of Murfreesboro served the family in Tennessee and Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the family.
