Roger Wilson

Roger Dale Wilson, 68 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.

Roger was born July 15, 1948 in Stanly County to the late Eddie Wilson and the late Rosebud Beulah Brock Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James "Sonny" Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Efird and Rev. Joshua Efird.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Patricia Lynne Wilson of Norwood; brother, Jack (Anita) Wilson of Mint Hill; and sister, Yvonne (Rodger) Pinion of Norwood; nieces and nephews, Penny Wilson, Theresa Blayton, Lisa Loflin, Paula Bailey, Jaime Lewis, Melicia Proctor, Brooks Wilson, Jason Pinion, and Allison Neal.
