Roland Smith

Roland Smith, 57, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. George Kuhn, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Mr. Smith was born on January 6, 1955, to the late Billy Smith and the late Bessie Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Celeste Smith; two daughters, Julie Smith of New London and Cristal Heidel of New London; three sons, Christopher Heidel of Albemarle, Robert Ashley, Jr. of New London and Ronald of Badin; three brothers, Johnny of Houston, TX, Rogers Pressley of Chester, SC, Jerry Pressley of Chester, SC; two sisters, Kathy and Sue of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren who they will always remember as their loving Paw Paw.
