Ronald Lee Crisco, 70 years of age, of Locust, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Mr. Crisco was born October 6, 1945 in Stanly County to the late Lawson Vance Crisco and Mrytle Ruth Crisco . He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Veronica Lynn Crisco and a brother, Bob Crisco.
Ron was a retired employee of Verizon Communications with 30 years of service. He owned and operated Suncoast Aluminum of North Carolina. He was also a former member of the Stanly County Board of Education and a member of Canton Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler's Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM officiated by Rev. Gary Hunsucker and Rev. Jay Weemhoff. Burial will follow in the Allegheny United Methodist Church Cemetery, Allegheny Church Road, Denton.
Survivors include wife, Evangeline Crisco of Locust; daughters, Cindy Estridge and husband David of Kings Mountain, Kim Williams and husband Shane of Dillsboro, and Susan Huss and husband Daniel of Cullowhee, sisters, Shirley Brown of Mount Morris, Michigan and Joyce Smith of Albemarle, and grandchildren, Andrew Estridge, Kaleb Estridge, James Hinson, Joshua Williams, and Samantha Huss.
