Ronald Vance Morton, 64 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Mr. Morton was born December 4, 1950 in Stanly County to the late Aster Vance Morton and the late Mildred Elizabeth Morton.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. David Sanders. Burial will follow in Oakboro Cemetery with military honors by the Stanly County DAV Chapter 12.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Sue Morton of the home; two daughters, Donna Helms of Salisbury and Amber Dial of Stanfield; two sons, Dion Morton of Lawton, OK and Dameon Dial of Stanfield; and his sister, Brenda (Robert) Laramie of Jacksonville, FL,
