Ronald Mullis

Ronald Max "Ronnie" Mullis, 72, of 115 Ervin Avenue Concord passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. He was born on December 14, 1938 in Henry County Virginia to the late James Ticen and Mary Ruth Spears Mullis. He was also preceded in death by his brother Jimmie Mullis. Mr. Mullis was a truck mechanic. He served in the US Navy. The family meeting place will be at the home 115 Ervin Avenue Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 12 until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel, with Rev. Merrill Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be performed by Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Smith Mullis of the home; son, Lionel "Eric" Mullis and wife Cherry of Concord; grandchildren, Jason Mullis and Lesli Mullis both of Concord; sister, Barbara Joanne Mullis Furr of Concord; a number of nieces and nephews.
