Ronald Franklin Reid, 70 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at in Concord.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, March 16, at West Concord Cemetery with nephew David Mullis officiating. Music will be provided by David and Bethany Mullis, a great niece. Pallbearers will be David Mullis, Lore and Ronnie Hatley, Cindy Dennis, Dennis Andrade, and Harold Stogner. Friends may stop by the funeral home after 12:00 noon on Saturday to pay their respects.
Born July 14, 1943 in Concord, he was the son of the late Carl E. and Edith Shoe Reid. He graduated from Hartsell High School in 1962. He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1974. He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha, and a brother, Donald. He is survived by sisters Edith Auten, Jackie (Harold) Stogner; brother Tony, and many nieces and nephews.
His sister Edith would like to extend special thanks to all his friends at Washington Square Apartments.
