Ronald Simmons

Ronald Allen Simmons, 58, of 3744 Patricia Drive NW Concord passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Born on August 31, 1952 in Rowan County to the late Allen Simmons and Eva Simmons of Salisbury. He was also preceded in death by a son Christopher Simmons, brother Jesse Simmons, and a nephew. Ronald was a retired card tender with China Grove Cotton Mill. The family meeting place will be the home. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at West Lawn Mausoleum Chapel in China Grove on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 2 PM. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. He is survived by: wife, Mary Black Simmons of the home; mother, daughter, Amanda Bryant of Concord; step-son, George Cox of Concord; step-daughters, Tricia Newman of GA; Catherine Blank of FL; brothers, Tommy Simmons, Donald Simmons, Robert Simmons, and Gene Simmons all of China Grove; mother, Eva Ruth B.
