Ronnie Furr

Ronnie "Rip" Allan Furr, 64, of Sherrills Ford, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. "Rip" was born November 9, 1948 in Stanly County to the late Bill Moss Furr and the late Sarah Rebecca Lowder Furr . He was also preceded in death by brother, Johnny Moss Furr. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 522 North Second Street, of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel and officiated by the Rev. Robert L. Kerr. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Charlene Meador Furr of Sherrills Ford, NC; sister, Barbara Furr Morton of Albemarle; brother, Duke (Patti) Furr of Albemarle; niece, Kricket Morton; nephew, Kyle Morton; niece, Leigh Ellen Furr Roberts; nephew, William Furr; and a great niece, Anslee, and great nephew, Carson.
