Rosa Burris

Rosa Blondell Burris, 90 years of age, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at Carebridge Assisted Living, Mount Pleasant, NC. Ms. Burris was born April 20, 1923, to the late Afton Alexander Burris and Minnie Helms Burris. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. Funeral service will be at 4:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, officiated by Rev. Daniel McClamrock. Burial will follow at Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 138, Oakboro, NC. Survivors include brother, Roy G. Burris of Stanfield; nieces, Betty B. Ledbetter of Locust, and Brenda E. Fleeman of Kannapolis. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Burris family.
