Rosa Garmon

Rosa Belle Garmon, 92, of Locust, NC, left this world at 8:30 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2009, in Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Garmon was born in Stanly County, November 19, 1917, to the late James Fred Mullis and Rosa Belle Eudy Burris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George H. Garmon and her neice, Elizabeth Hill. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 320 South Central Avenue, Locust, NC, with Rev. Kinney Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rosa Belle Garmon is survived by her sister, Opal Dabbs of Locust, her nephews, Tim Hinson of Marshville and Raymond "Buddy" Hinson of Oakboro, and great nephews and neices.
