Roscoe Dixon

Roscoe “Buddy” Dixon Jr., 55, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Sunday, July 8, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Brian Rabon, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. At other times the family will meet at the home, 3709 Fieldcrest Circle, Concord. Buddy was born on June 21, 1957, to Roscoe Dixon, Sr. and the late Lynn Beatrice Dixon. In addition to his father, he is survived by three sisters, Judy Deese, Janice Dixon and Linda Harvell; two brothers, Mitchell Dixon and David Dixon; three nephews and one niece. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Dixon family.
