Rosebud Stout

Rosebud Crump Stout, 97, of Norwood, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at the Lutheran Home, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Stout was born September 4, 1913, in Stanly County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, David George Stout; father, Travis Millard Crump; mother, Mary Speights Crump; and a great-grandson, Daniel Hager. The visitation will be 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., Sat. Jan. 15, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. The funeral will be at 4:00 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Alex Willoughby and Claude Burleson. The burial will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Albemarle. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her daughter, Jeanette, 4667 Old Davis Road, Norwood. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Griffin, of Norwood; granddaughter, Kaye Litzinger and husband, Gerry, of Duluth, GA; great-grandson, Mark Hager and wife, Mimi; Tracy and Maggie Humbert, mother of great-great-grandchildren, Drew Hager, and twins, Margaret and Caroline Hager.
