Rowena Paulus
November 19, 1922 — August 30, 2016
Rowena Scarboro Doyle Paulus, 93 years of age, of Salisbury (formerly of Kitty Hawk, NC), passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Trinity Oaks Lutheran Home in Salisbury.
Rowena was born November 19, 1922 in Wake County, NC, to the late William Henry Doyle and the late Goldie Medlin Doyle. She was also preceded in death by husband of 70 years, Charles J. Paulus III; son, Mark P. Paulus; three brothers; five sisters.
A memorial service will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
Survivors include her daughters, Betsy J. Paulus of Salisbury and Amanda P. Vann of Charlotte; son, David J. Paulus of Nottingham, PA; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
