Rowenia Linker

Rowenia Ann Chastain Linker, 74, of Kannapolis, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Harold Smith, will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. At other times the family will meet at her home. Rowenia was born on June 23, 1937, to the late Allen and Mary Chastain. She is survived by a son, Billy Falkner and wife Phyllis of Kannapolis; two daughters, Julie Linker Beamon and husband Ron of Kannapolis and Victoria Ann Bost and husband Randy of Shallotte; a sister, Betina Chastine Ludwick of Kannapolis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, CN 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Linker family.
