Rowland Eley

Rowland Waide (Buddy) Eley, 63, of Concord, passed away on October 22, 2021 in Concord, NC.

He was born on June 20, 1958 to Ralph and Jean (Jackson) Eley of Petersburg, Va. Rowland worked as a Machine operator for 30 years with Philip Morris in Richmond Va and Concord NC. In his free time he enjoyed adventure, traveling, riding his motorcycle across our beautiful country, Canada and Alaska.  He also was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whom he loved more than life itself.

Rowland (Buddy) is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Susan Clark Eley. He is also survived by his son, Nicholas Eley, daughter Heather Pennell and two grandchildren, Grace Pennell and  Jackson Pennell. Also, and one sister Jean Anne Lundie.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Eley and mother Jean Eley.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
