Roy Schreppel

Roy Glenn Schreppel, 77 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

Mr. Schreppel was born July 13, 1939 in Pennsylvania to the late Robert W. and Clara Schreppel. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughters, Rita Hathcock and Vickie Honeycutt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church, Albemarle officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. Burial will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include wife of 52 years, Mary Schreppel, daughters, Linda and husband Tim Springer, Mary-Lou and husband Rodney Blalock; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
