Royce Green, Sr

Royce Lee Green, Sr. 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.

Royce was born September 24, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Titus William Green and the late Elma Elizabeth Lee Green. He was also preceded in death by son, Darryl Green; daughter, Cathy Cratty, brothers, Larry and Robert Green; sisters, Louise Poplin and Margaret Coble.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Buster Green will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Burial will follow in the Green Cemetery, Big Lick Stanfield Road, Oakboro, NC.

He is survived by sons, Royce Lee "Buster" Green Jr. and wife, Crystal of Mount Pleasant and Garry Greene and wife, Cynthia of Norwood; daughter, Shirley Mason and husband, Robert Mason of Oakboro; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren,.
