Ruby Dennis

Ruby Sides Dennis, 88 years of age, of Mint Hill, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Dennis was born June 8, 1929 in Stanly County to the late John Sides and the late Isabelle Morris Sides. She was also preceded in death by her late husband Lloyd Keith Dennis, a sister and five brothers.

Ruby's greatest love was her family especially her grandkids. She enjoyed quilting which was her favorite hobby.  Ruby was a very sociable person and enjoyed being in the company of others.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jeremy Hyde. Burial will be held at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Russell of Mint Hill; grandson, Brandon Russell and wife Nikki of Albemarle; granddaughter, Heather Russell of Mint Hill; great grandson, Collin Russell and great granddaughter, Kensley Orell Russell.
