Ruby Gandy

Mrs. Ruby L. Gandy, 87, of Concord went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her home. Born on September 23, 1922 in Stanly County to the late James Labon Little and the late Bessie Mae Swarringen Little. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Elmer Gandy, Sr. who passed away in December of 2009, and a son Billy Gerald Griffin. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 10 until 11 AM . Funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Survived by: son, Jim Gandy, Jr. and wife Terry of Concord; daughters, Dianne Deese and husband M. Reid Deese, Jr., and Kathy Hales-Ross all of Concord; brother, Wayne S.”Bud” Little of Oakboro; sisters, Doris Little Whitley of Red Cross, and Winnie Little Smith of Stanfield; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
