Ruby Kepley

Ruby Louise Bost Kepley, 93, of Concord, passed away on August 23, 2013 at her residence. Ruby was born on March 30, 1920 in Cabarrus County to the late Hugh and Callie (Biggers) Bost. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Henry Kepley; daughters, Joyce Fink and Darlene Kepley; brothers, Farrell and Don Bost; and sister, Betty Jean Bost. Ruby worked as a Card Room Operator in the textile industry for many years. She is survived by her son, Eugene "Bub" Kepley of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Brenda Ragan, and Linda Lowe, both of Concord; brothers, Parker & Melvin Bost of Concord; sister, Billie Bost of Concord; fifteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 6 until 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis on Monday, August 26th at 2 PM with Rev. Ricky Kepley to officiate.
