Ruby Lee

Mrs. Ruby H. Lee. 85 of 187 Wilson Street Concord passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010 at Tucker Hospice House. Born on November 22, 1924 in Cabarrus County to the late Jason and Mary Wallace Hartsell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Garland Thurston Lee, Sr who passed away in 1977. Mrs. Lee was a retired weaver fro Cannon Mills, and was also employed with Morrison Millworks. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Eastside Baptist Church on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the church with Rev. Tim Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: son, Garland T. Lee, Jr of Concord; gaughter, Susan "Bebe" Lee of Concord; sister, Beatrice "Bea" Phillips of Concord; grandchildren, Darrell Michael Helms, and Heather Virginia Helms.
