Ruby Mason

Ruby Laws Mason, 95, of Concord, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Tucker Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17th from 10 until 11 am at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 11 am, with Rev’s. James Strickland and James Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Ruby was born on October 28, 1916, to the late Clifford and Minnie H. Laws. She was also preceded in death by her husband Roy Thomas Mason, two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by: son, Roy Mason and wife Susie of Cheyenne, WY; daughter, Kathleen Hartsell and husband Ervin of Midland; sister, Nola Osborne of China Grove; grandchildren, Scott Mason of Kannapolis, Roger Mason of Crestwood, KY, Tricia Mason of Lincoln, NE, and Mason Hartsell of Midland; great-grandchildren, Ali and Mia Hartsell both of Midland, Connor, Tyler, and Ruby Mason all of Crestwood, KY.
