Ruby Caroline Dry Misenheimer, 97, of 807 Arbor St. NE, Concord, died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at CMC-Northeast.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, at 10 AM at New Gilead Reformed Church in Concord with the Rev. Jimmy Norred. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mrs. Misenheimer was born February 4, 1912 in Cabarrus County to the late James Dry and the late Maggie Jane Lentz Dry. She was a homemaker and a member of New Gilead Reformed Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bell Misenheimer, who died in April 1983, as well as her sister, Velma Marie Dry Misenheimer, and her brother, Andrew James Dry.
Survivors include her son Bernard Misenheimer, of Concord; grandson Michael Misenheimer and wife Shelley; and great-grandchildren Hannah and Callie.
