Ruby Murphy

Ruby Lee Murphy, 94 of, Albemarle, NC passed away on December 22, 2010 at Home in Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Forrest Lawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29 from 2-4 PM. Funeral rites will be done by Eastern Star Claiborne Chapter #144 at 4 PM following the visitation. The service will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 11 AM in Forrest Lawn Funeral Home’s Chapel. Mrs. Murphy was born in GA, on September 2, 1916 to the late Reuben and Minnie McLain. Mrs. Ruby Lee Murphy was preceded in death by her husband Denzil Odell Murphy; and also, two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Ruby Lee Murphy was survived by her daughter Nancy Buffington of Albemarle, NC; her sons, Benny Lunsford and Timothy Lunsford; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
